Block Printing Workshop
In 2021 I delivered a Block Printing Workshop at Sunderland College for Level 2 Art and Design students as part of an individual work project. This was my first time teaching so I decided to organise a small workshop demonstrating a printmaking technique which would be suitable for all ages. For this workshop I created and designed a handout guide so the students who took part where able to follow along by going through the guide of the step by step process.
When creating the block printing handout guide for this workshop, I documented the process of myself carrying out the workshop by photographing each step and the mediums and materials used to achieve the final prints. To put the handout guide together I included both photographs and text explaining the process so the guide would be clear and easy for the students to follow as the images would show each step being completed. When I was setting up for the workshop, I placed the prints I created from completing the workshop on the desks so the students were able to see some final prints in person rather than just seeing images.
For this workshop project, I gathered a range of different mediums and materials which could be used whilst block printing. This allowed room for more experimentation which could be carried out by achieving different textures in the prints from using different materials. Whilst creating the prints, different shapes were cut out from the different materials used, such as; silhouettes, basic shapes and sections of the materials such as bubblewrap with no specific shape, where the texture of the material could be seen when printed. After the workshop ended, I photographed the work completed and created a collage of the different pieces of work to show the different variations of prints made side by side.
Photography Photo Shoots
I have completed photography photo shoots both on location and in photography studios. Most of the photography work I have completed in photography studios include portraits where different people have been involved and they can be photographed with different props and objects within the studio.

I have organised and carried out different photography shoots following different themes and concepts, as well as experimenting with different ways photographs can be taken such as using tripods and different camera angles as well as changing the different settings of the camera.
Product Design
I have completed work projects which involved designing products for clients/companies and products design which could be further developed and made into final products.

I have designed and created products which have been displayed in different venues such as 'Sunderland Empire of the North East', when I was involved in a team project to create tie-dye flag which was showcased to represent 'Hair the Musical' Empire Show. I have also designed and created products for 'The Canny Space' in 'Holy Trinity Church' as they were looking for work to be displayed which represented the church building and the history of the town and the local area.

I have also completed a design project which involved designing surface patterns for products which could be further developed into being created as final products.
Series
I have organised and completed various series of work including different techniques and processes within art and photography. The different series of work I have completed follow different designs and concepts and the same style of work is continued throughout all of the pieces of work included in a single series.
